I found the hotel to have basic rooms with very old mattresses, but they were spotlessly clean, just like you'd expect in Japan. The service was helpful, even though some staff struggled with English. The location was excellent, close to night life and historical sites, although a bit far from the train station. The dining options were simple Japanese style, but not very generous after 9 am. The facilities were decent overall.
